Bus line and and Tramway

There are 28 bus lines and 2 lines of tramway  in Clermont. It’s enough for going anywhere : be it to the center or to the more suburban parts of the city. For knowing where and when there is a bus, you have first to know which line you want to take

Go to this first link to find your line. Be careful because there is a distinction between week and week-end line. ( the Tramway line is the A one) Once you find your line go to this link :

https://www.t2c.fr/votre-trajet/horaires-par-ligne/horaires-des-lignes-regulieres

Enter the name or number of your line and download the pdf. There you will find the schedule for your line for each stop during the day. Unfortunately the website is in French and not very practical. We would encourage you to find a map with the schedule. They can be found on the bus line or in the T2C office at this address 24, bd Charles de Gaulle, 63000 Clermont-Ferrand, all freely accessible.  At each stop, there is always a map and a schedule for the line that you want to travel from.

Subscription

The following is a list of the different types of tickets or subscriptions you can take  for the bus and the tramway. There is no distinction between the two, they work for both transportations.

C. Vélo

This is a system of transportation  which uses bicycles. There are 40 stations that spreads over Clermont.

How it Works

You need to subscribe. You will then receive an e-mail with your access code. On the Smoovebox on the handlebar of the bike, enter you user code, then your password. If you have a T2C or Oùra card you can scan it  instead of typing in your code.

The message “Départ OK, bon trajet, retirez le vélo” (= Start OK, safe travel, pull back the bike) is displayed on the Smoovebox. You can now ride the bike freely.

Need a break ? You can lock your bike by scanning your card or by typing in your code user, then use the lock cable next to the handlebar to reattach your bike.

Slide the bike into an empty dock, push the V button of the Smoovebox. A bip sound with the message “ RETOUR OK” (=Return OK) allow you to know if the bike is correctly parked.

How to subscribe and how much does it cost ?

  •   2€ for one day
